Professor Hu authored/co-authored more than 160 papers in peer-reviewed journals such as J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem., Nat. Commun., Adv. Mater., Adv. Energy Mater., Nano Lett. and Nature etc. These papers have received more than 17,000 citations with an H-index of 56. Over 30 papers were selected as Hot Paper and/or Highly Cited Paper by Essential Science Indicators. He is the principal inventor on over 30 patents. His work has been recognized by a number of awards, including Chinese Chemical Society Prize for Young Scientists (2006) and Chinese Society of Electrochemistry Prize for Young Investigators (2017). He currently is a member of Chinese Chemical Society, American Chemical Society, and International Electrochemical Society etc.

Research Interests:

1)     Nanocatalysts for electrochemical energy conversion

2)     High-efficiency perovskite photovoltaics
